Welcome to my blog from beautiful Madrid España! This is my second year working as an English Language Ambassador for the Ministry of Education and Science in Spain. I provide support by planning lessons, creating activities, correcting pronunciation and being a resource of American culture to native Spanish teachers in a bilingual elementary school. I work with children ranging from ages three to 13 years old. This experience has allowed me to become fully immersed in the Spanish culture.
I graduated magna cum laude from Temple University with a B.A. in Strategic and Organizational Communications with a focus on Public Relations. I plan to use my interpersonal communication skills along with this international work experience to hone my Spanish language and cultural knowledge in order to set myself apart from my peers.
I write blog posts for Furia Rubel Communications in Doylestown, Pa. while abroad. Upon my return to the USA in June 2010, I will continue to learn how to become an expert in the public relations industry.
